Neill S. Twigg - Along with friend and colleague, Steve Johnson, Neill founded Everybody Loves PE! in 2010. He has taught elementary and middle school Physical Education since 2003 and currently serves the Hillsboro School District as a mentor teacher (TOSA), providing support for elementary PE teachers in the district. In 2024, Neill was nominated for Oregon SHAPE's Elementary PE Teacher of the Year. Having grown up in the Hillsboro area, he thoroughly enjoys giving back to the community that once helped support him! He has coached HS Girls' basketball, MS track, MS/HS volleyball, and has served as a youth coordinator for 5th-8th grade basketball teams. At Patterson Elementary, he has led chess clubs, directed school plays/musicals, and provided students with after-school PE programs. He loves working with kids of all ages and seeing positive steps in their overall growth as human beings. In his spare time, he enjoys playing all kinds of games, acting in comedy shows/musicals, anything Star Wars, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dan Waterman
Dan has been teaching both Physical Education and Special Education since 1988! His years of experience include coaching a variety of sports from youth level to high school varsity, writing grants to fund academic/recreational activities, and being honored with the coveted Crystal Apple award which recognizes teachers from the Hillsboro School District for the unique contributions they bring to their schools. He has also owned and managed a private tutoring center and is a semi-professional magician in his spare time!

Julia Mazur
Julia has taught elementary PE for the past 13 years. She currently teaches at Chief Joseph Elementary in the Portland Public School District. Julia is a former Oregon SHAPE president (association that promotes healthy, active lifestyles for all Oregon school-age children and youth through professional development opportunities and advocacy). She loves to play tag games, dance, and make up PE games relating to Star Wars and video games!

Gavin Harrison
Gavin has been teaching middle school Physical Education and Health in the Tigard/Tualatin school district for 19 years and has coached for 24 years. He’s also been the athletic director at Hazelbrook Middle School in Tualatin for 18 years. He enjoys working with young people because of their enthusiasm for life. Gavin and his family enjoy camping in their motorhome, doing outdoor adventures together, and playing games. He and his family have a dog and some chickens. Gavin and his wife of 20 years like to build and do projects together. He finds that humor and laughter are great things to focus on as life can be challenging at times.

Brett Phillips
Brett has been teaching PE for the past 17 years, 9 of those at the Elementary Level. He is currently a Health and PE teacher and Head Wrestling Coach at Mountainside High School in the Beaverton School District. He loves working with kids and seeing the enjoyment they have while being physically active!
