2021 Summer Camp Updates
**UPDATE: 6/4/21**
Dear valued ELPE! families,
Thank you, again, for your patience as we navigate the ever-changing landscape of what our ELPE! summer camps could potentially look like this year. This has been a very long process and we've been at the mercy of the Hillsboro School District's and State guidelines up to this point. We share your frustration.
At this time, it does not sound like we will be able to have ELPE! summer camp in the traditional sense (week-long, 5-hours/day). Although we would prefer the aforementioned traditional format, we are currently working with the Hillsboro school district on partnering with the summer enrichment programs that are happening this summer at Hillsboro elementary schools. We still are waiting for specific details on how that’ll look, but we are hoping to run a few, 1-hour-long sessions at a few schools in the district each day. If you are part of the Hillsboro School District, please contact your school's principal for more details and to see if ELPE! will be featured at your school (at this moment, we don't know which schools we'll be at).
Our hope is that we have camp back up and running next summer just like in years past. We definitely look forward to helping kids stay active the same way we've done the past 11 years.
